Your health and wellbeing is always our main priority at Progressive Therapy. As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to evolve, we are monitoring all updates from state and local health officials and following all recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in order to keep our patients, customers, and staff safe and healthy. We will continue to update this page as new information is available.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
Progressive Therapy is currently open and will continue to serve our community and patients at this time. We thank you for trusting us with your Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy treatment. Current patients will be notified directly if any changes in hours or closures take effect.
We are following current CDC guidelines to protect our community by screening all patients and staff, following strict hand washing protocols, and taking extra precautions in addition to our normal protocol of maintaining a clean and safe environment.
We ask that any patients exhibiting symptoms of fever, cough, or shortness of breath or patients that have been in contact with someone with known or suspected COVID-19 are asked to stay home and reschedule your appointment so that we may keep other patients and are staff safe.
We are requiring face coverings be worn when entering the building per Virginia Department of Health Executive Order 63 requiring masks in public indoor settings to help contain the spread of the virus. If a medical condition prohibits the use of a face mask, please let our front desk know upon entering. For any questions regarding face masks, please refer to the VA Department of Health's Websitehere.
We will be offering Telehealth services to our patients in order to continue to provide you with the best care possible. Please feel free to ask us questions and let us know how we can best service you during this time.
TIPS FOR STAYING HEALTHY
We encourage you to practice safe behaviors to stay healthy and minimize the spread of COVID-19 by following the CDC's recommendations:
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
If soap and water are not available use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and throw the tissue in the trash.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick and limit exposure to large crowds.
